In January 2007 we set up a Key Stakeholder Consultative Group under the chairmanship of Nick Raynsford MP, with representatives of Greenwich Hospital, the London Borough of Greenwich, the Greenwich Foundation, the National Maritime Museum, the Town Centre Traders, the Market managers, the residents, the Chamber of Commerce, Greenwich Peninsula Partnership and the Greenwich Society.
The purpose of the Group is to discuss the regeneration of the Island Site and provide views from a wide spectrum of people and organisations with an interest in the Hospital’s properties in Greenwich. The Group is an advisory body and will be looking at and commenting upon various options for the Island Site. The ultimate planning authority is Greenwich Council.
